A design agency from Northampton has signed a lease to become the first tenant in the Corby Enterprise Centre. Melli UK will move into the town’s new £8.3m business hub ahead of its official opening in December.

Melli UK specialises in providing marketing advice and communication materials to consumer brands. Clients include Mars, Heineken, Danone, Johnson & Johnson, Pedigree and Whiskas.

The 32,000 sq ft Corby Enterprise Centre is being built on the town’s new residential site, Priors Hall Park. It is adjacent to the new £30m Corby Business Academy.

With different sized offices and studios suitable for between two and 25 people, the Enterprise Centre is destined to be a lively new focus for business activity in the area.

In addition to 24/7 access, free car parking and high speed communications, the Enterprise Centre will provide tenants with unique on-site support including access to a network of business development experts from a wide range of industries as well as secretarial services.

Shared facilities such as a boardroom and meeting rooms are also available to allow a cost effective and convenient means for companies to hold training events or client presentations.

Stuart Hartley, manager of the centre, said: “The Corby Enterprise Centre is one of the most exciting enterprise and innovation buildings that I have seen. It’s a fantastic building and one that will attract and support new and emerging businesses such as Melli UK.

"Going forward we would like Corby Enterprise Centre to be at the forefront of business activity in the area and we would encourage small and large businesses alike to consider the centre as a base."
