Marketing Derby has launched two investment products at the UK’s major 2010 retail event, the British Council of Shopping Centres (BCSC). The team behind the DART and Place Settings products said that they “assess the case for investing in Derby”.

The BCSC event, which was held in Manchester, was attended by over 2,500 agents and retailers.

Marketing Derby’s Quality City stall displayed its DART and Place Settings marketing strategies, which the organisation said would help financiers decide how to invest in the city

Marketing Derby’s managing director John Forkin, said: “We were really bowled over by the fantastic response we got from retailers and agents who seemed to respond to the business case we can now make to them.”

The team said they also worked closely with Westfield shopping centre and chartered surveyor Fisher Hargreaves Proctor to promote the investment opportunities across the city.
