Midlands healthcare providers merge
Telford-based healthcare service Mor-care has merged with Prime Rehabilitation, headquartered in Derby. The two companies, which will be rebranded as Prime Healthcare, said that they had merged “to allow the group to expand and diversify further”.
Prime Rehabilitation, which also has offices in Warwick and Coventry, first joined forces with Mor-Care earlier this year when Prime director Alan Gilbert was brought in as a consultant, before being made a director.
The two companies have worked in partnership to deliver Prime’s RALE (Reconstructing Adult Living Experience) support programme across the region.
Alan Gilbert will be joined by Julie Gilbert from Prime and Paul and Sarah Morgan from Mor-Care on the board of directors at Prime Healthcare.
Alan Gilbert said: “Both Prime Rehabilitation and Mor-Care have established a reputation for the personalised care and support that they provide and this made the merger a perfect fit for both companies.
“I am delighted that Prime Healthcare will be able to offer its innovative range of services in Derbyshire, Warwickshire, Coventry and Shropshire and hope to expand still further in the future."
