Herbert Baggaley agrees financing deal with Santander
Santander Corporate Banking has agreed to provide banking facilities to Mansfield-based Herbert Baggaley Construction.
The bank said it will provide facilities which are for the company’s day-to-day trading requirements and its growth aspirations.
Herbert Baggaley employs 150 people across the East Midlands.
The company is also working on two projects for the University of Nottingham on its Sutton Bonington Campus; £5.4m Biosciences Building and £4.6m BioEnergy Research Facility.
Ian Baggaley, managing director of Herbert Baggaley Construction, said: “As the construction sector starts to see volumes of work increase, it is vitally important to have a willing partner on board from a banking point of view. I have been hugely impressed with the approach of Santander from the start and I am delighted with their offering.
“Our business is focused on the service we offer to our clients, and this approach results in Herbert Baggaley Construction undertaking a high percentage of repeat and negotiated projects. We work with a variety of public and private sector clients on large and small new-build and refurbishment projects.
"We also have specialist divisions that are dedicated to traditional bespoke joinery and repair and maintenance that complement our core specialism, enabling us to deliver our clients a complete service under one roof.”
