Window of opportunity for Stafford Aluminium
Stafford Aluminium Windows has secured a contract worth more than £680,000 to refurbish and replace windows to the historic Tenterbanks building. The deal was made in partnership with Stafford College, which rents the property.
The Grade-II listed building will undergo a complete window replacement along with external repairs and redecoration works.
Stafford Aluminum Windows won the contract following a tender process which involved a quality of service assessment and price evaluations.
The building requires more than 450 enhanced casement windows and ten doors.
Dee Benning, of Stafford Aluminium, said: As a local company we are obviously delighted to have been awarded this contract. The building is a landmark in Stafford and it’s a privilege to be given the responsibility to bring the building back up to its former glory.
"The decision of the college to award the contract to a local company needs to be applauded and shows their commitment to working in partnership with local companies and employers. It also shows great faith in the quality of products and services offered by Stafford Aluminium Windows.”
