Concept to Consumer assets saved

The assets of Newark-on-Trent-based Concept to Consumer Europe have been rescued from administration. Machinery from the contract packing company has been bought by Mailway Packaging Solutions.

Bradford-based Mailway Packaging Solutions acquired a wide range of packaging machinery, including liquid filling equipment, from Concept to Consumer’s administrator.

The company went into liquidation earlier in the year.

Tim Lees, managing director of Mailway, said: “We take great pride in the scope of our service and the fact we are ideally suited for any contract packing project, no matter its size or complexity. Therefore, when the opportunity presented itself to strengthen our core offering and enhance our recently introduced liquid filling service we didn’t hesitate.”

Lees added: “Our aim is to be recognised as the UK’s first choice co-packing partner and to do this it is imperative we have an offering that matches these ambitions.

“As such, we are actively seeking opportunities that enable us to move towards our business goals.”
