Clegg feasts on Staffordshire project

Clegg Food Projects has been awarded a multimillion-pound contract to construct and assist in the design of a factory for Adams Food Ingredients. Nottingham-headquartered Clegg will construct the property in Leek, Staffordshire.

Clegg Food Projects, which provides turnkey solutions for food factories over the UK, has begun work on the 60,000 sq ft facility. It is expected to be complete in May 2011.

The company will construct a new factory for the production of food ingredients. Clegg will be working at the site for the second time, having built and assisted in the design of an adjacent factory for The Kerrygold Company two years ago.

Steve Giltrap, managing director of Clegg Food Projects, said: “This is the second project we will have carried out for the Adams group. We are delighted to be working with the company again, helping to support their success and continued growth.

“We have drawn upon our technical knowledge and practical experience of the food manufacturing sector to ensure we have achieved the best possible outcome for Adams.”
