Triplar, the retail display, shop fitting and commercial interiors specialist, has recruited new project managers. The Northampton-based company said the appointments were a continuation of the company’s “rapid expansion plan”.

Since moving into a new joinery production facility last year, the team has now grown to 20 people. The latest appointments, Darryl Sweeney and Steven McCarthy, add to the company’s project management team.

McCarthy joins from SMC Interiors and was part of team that carried out the refurbishment of Transport for London, BT and Red Bull Racing's headquarters.

His first project will see him manage the fit-out of a number of new Nike factory outlets; while Sweeney, who joined from Datum Contracts International, has already completed a number of store fit-outs for soap retailer, Lush.

Director Tim Rodwell said: "Working with high-profile brands brings a degree of pressure and there is no room for error. Each of our new team members brings experience and a passion for excellence, and their appointments will enable us to deliver the very best for our expanding customer base."

The company recently won an industry award from Retail Week for work with bootmaker Dr Martens, completing the fit-out of a highly-acclaimed 'pop-up store' in Spitalfields, London.
