Hi-Spec acquisition for Goodfish
Integrated manufacturing service Goodfish has acquired Hi-Spec Precision Toolmakers. The deal between the Cannock-based companies was advised by Midlands law firm Ansons Solicitors.
Goodfish said it has plans to expand the business, and “is already creating opportunities for the current workforce and new jobs in the locality”.
The existing management team of Hi-Spec Precision Toolmakers will remain with the business, as will all its employees.
Corporate partner Hilary D’Cruz was the lead adviser in the sale of Hi-Spec Precision Toolmakers, which designs and manufactures plastic injection mouldings and precision custom tooling.
D’Cruz added: “It has been a tough time for owner managed businesses of late, but there are signs of economic optimism locally and I am encouraged by these recent transactions which relate to both manufacturing and service sectors.”
The sum of the deal was undisclosed.
