Letting deal brings Conder to the Boyle
Conder Developments has leased space at its Trafalgar Park development in Derby to Boyle Electrical, the renewable power generation business.
Boyle has taken a 25-year lease of two units at Trafalgar Park comprising 27,000 sq ft.
Boyle required planning permission for 3MW of electricity generation to enable the deal to go through. This was obtained and the new facility is expected to supply 5,000 local homes.
Conder managing director Paul Shanley said the deal was a reward for the time the business committed to the project. He said: “It’s often difficult to assess the viability of businesses such as Boyle Electrical in the early stages but their team did an excellent job of explaining their project to us and we have supported and worked with them at every step in achieving the necessary consents to allow the project to succeed."
