Casa comes to Chesterfield
A new four-star hotel is set to open in Chesterfield next month. Operations director Stuart Downham said he hoped that the Casa hotel would “attract new corporate business to the town and region.”
Casa will be the borough’s only four-star hotel.
Downham said: “We are confident that we can attract business that is currently going to other destinations and that can only be a good thing for the town. We’ll be working with local and regional partners to maximise the opportunities, and our business plan sets out a clear, realistic strategy for achieving our leisure and business tourism goals.”
The hotel will comprise 11 meeting rooms, 100 bedrooms, restaurant and gym
Rachel Guest, sales manager for Conference Derbyshire, said: “We are really excited about the opening of Casa as it adds so many new dimensions to the conference offering in Derbyshire. Casa will be Chesterfields only four-star hotel so, as well as the addition of some fantastic corporate spaces, the region will also benefit from first-class accommodation and hospitality.
"Casa is a unique addition to our venue portfolio and I’m confident it will be a huge hit with conference and event organisers.”
