Boots chairman to host leadership lecture
The executive chairman of Alliance Boots, Stefano Pessina, will host a guest lecture at Nottingham Business School. The lecture, entitled The Crucial Value of Leadership and Entrepreneurship, will be delivered on 2 November.
Launching this year’s Business Leaders’ Lecture series, Pessina is to discuss the successful elements of entrepreneurship and the motivation behind his entrepreneurial career.
Alliance Boots is a leading international, pharmacy-led health and beauty group which has a presence in more than 20 countries with more than 115,000 employees. Pessina took up the role as the group's executive chairman after taking the company private in June 2007.
Pessina will also use his lecture to unveil how Alliance Boots has managed to deliver positive results throughout challenging economic times.
