Flint Bishop acquires Robotham & Co
Derby law firm Flint Bishop has acquired the Robotham & Co legal practice in the city. Family-run Robotham & Co, which has been operating for more than 150 years, specialises in wills, probate, trusts and property work.
Ken Dixon, managing partner of Flint Bishop, said: “We are delighted to have completed the deal, which sees Robotham & Co join Flint Bishop.
“The client base that Robotham’s has established since opening its Derby office in 1837 is a veritable showcase of prominent Derbyshire families and as a result, the firm operates a large number of family trusts, which will complement our own already substantial team.”
The firm said the acquisition "reinforces Flint Bishop's capabilities in high-value private client work with a particular emphasis on wills, probate and trusts".
