Top JLR exec for manufacturing event
Jaguar Land Rover purchasing director Gary Kirtley-Paine has been confirmed as a panelist for Insider’s New Opportunities in Manufacturing forum at Coventry Technocentre on 2 November.
Kirtley-Paine, a procurement professional with 30 years’ automotive experience, joins Simon Griffiths, chief executive of the Manufacturing Advisory Service - West Midlands and Dr Mark Jolly, a senior lecturer in manufacturing processes at the University of Birmingham, on the panel of our ‘Question Time’ style event which focuses on new opportunities away from traditional manufacturing, in areas such as medical technologies, nuclear engineering and renewable energy.
Our panelists will discuss what more can be done to nurture high-end, value-added manufacturing in the region and offer advice to manufacturing firms looking to expand into new sectors.
