Land Rover appoints new managing director
Colin Green has been appointed managing director of Land Rover UK. He will replace John Edwards, who was recently appointed global brand director at the Warwick-based car giant.
Green, currently Land Rover’s global marketing director, will take up his new role on 1 December this year.
Land Rover said that the restructure will “strengthen the voice of the customer at board level”.
Green has worked for Land Rover since 1979. He has overseen all global marketing activity for the last six years, and prior to that was UK marketing director.
As managing director, Green will report directly to Phil Popham, who assumes his new role as director of global sales and service operations in December.
