DTZ to sell Shrewsbury development
The Birmingham office of DTZ has been instructed to find an investor for a mixed-use development in Shrewsbury. Acting on behalf of a private investor, DTZ is seeking offers for St Mary’s court, which was refurbished and extended in 2008.
The property, located in St Mary’s Street in the town centre, is an office and retail building. It is currently let to giftware retailer Vinegar Hill, Callaghan Fine Art and Aedas Architects.
It comprises a four-storey, 15,997 sq ft unit with accommodation split between 3,119 sq ft of retail space and 12,878 sq ft of office space.
Ned Jones, associate director in DTZ’s investment team in Birmingham, said: “This is a unique opportunity to secure a well located, well-let investment in central Shrewsbury. With good opportunities for rental growth, we have already received a number of enquiries from interested parties.”
DTZ said that offers for the freehold were being invited in the region of £2.97m.
