Evac+Chair buys APB
Evac+Chair International, based in Birmingham, has acquired Derby-headquartered APB Products. The sum of the deal was not disclosed.
APB, which manufacturers and assembles straps, harnesses, load restraints, bags and covers, was purchased from parent company Rykneld Tean.
Evac+Chair supplies an evacuation chair for commercial buildings.
Darryl Smith, operations director at Evac+Chair’s sister company ParAid Medical, said: “This acquisition means that every element of our innovative products is produced in-house, helping us to ensure the highest standard of quality control. It also allows us to further enhance our product offering to new and existing clients.”
