The Malthouse put on the market
Jones Lang LaSalle's healthcare team in Birmingham has been instructed to sell The Malthouse, a former care home in Hertford. The property adviser will market the premises on behalf of administrators at FRP Advisory.
The Grade II listed building is situated on a 0.24 acre site on Priory Street. It comprises 38 single bedrooms and five twin bedrooms.
Gary Watson, healthcare agent from Jones Lang LaSalle’s Healthcare team in Birmingham, who is advising on the sale, said: “This care home historically attracted good levels of privately funded clients over the years from the surrounding affluent area.
"We anticipate its sale will generate a wealth of interest from care home operators and developers and interested parties are requested to submit offers to us on a best and final basis by midday Friday 12 November.”
Chris Stevens of FRP Advisory is acting as joint administrator for The Malthouse.
