IT company expands with EFG loan

A Worcestershire IT company has moved premises to expand its business. Encription was granted a loan through the government-backed Enterprise Finance Guarantee (EFG) scheme by NatWest.

The company has relocated its operations to a 3,700 sq ft unit in Foley Business Park in Kidderminster. Four jobs have also been created as a result of the investment, and the company now employs nine staff.

The new facility will also allow the company to deliver its services worldwide, it said.

Campbell Murray, founder and director of Encription, said: “We are very excited about the way the company is developing and growing. We set out with a very simple idea of making IT systems and information, whether complex or not, more secure. This idea was not only a great place to start, it was something our customers could understand, relate to and believe.

"It was also something they knew was important to the success of their businesses. We could show full awareness of the latest IT security threats and work with appropriate organisations, including the police, to develop and maintain IT security standards, defences and techniques to reduce the risk of an attack on systems.”
