PwC promotes Wilson
PricewaterhouseCoppers (PwC) has appointed Greg Wilson to lead its education assurance team in the Midlands. Wilson transfers from his role as higher education assurance lead with PwC in the North West.
He will support higher education institutions (HEIs) at “a difficult time”, said financial expert PwC.
Wilson said: “I am excited to have relocated to Birmingham to reinvigorate our service offerings to the world class HEIs that are based in the Midlands. The sector faces significant challenges in the coming years as funding changes arising from the Browne Report and the Comprehensive Spending Review (CSR) take effect at a time when costs, and competition, both domestically and internationally, are increasing.
“Locally we have the skills and experience to support HEIs through these challenging times, helping to ensure they can continue to produce highly-skilled graduates for local employers and invest in worthwhile research activity, which is so crucial to the region’s future economic growth.”
