Final phase underway at £3m Leekes
The final phase of development is underway at the new Leekes store in Bilston. The project to refurbish the former Cole's of Bilston store will cost more than £3m.
This "final piece in the jigsaw" is a two-floor glass extension to the building, which will house an entrance hall and coffee shop.
Other improvements include a new car park with space for 100 customers, a re-clad exterior and an extended 100,000 sq ft interior.
An artist's impression of how the refurbished store will look has been revealed for the first time.
Emma Leeke, managing director of Leekes, said: "We are really pleased that plans for the great reveal of the new-look store are progressing to schedule. We have well and truly transformed the store and visitors won’t fail to be impressed with the investment.
"The new store will help put Bilston and Moxley firmly on the map as a retail hotspot and destination store for everything for the home."
