CSL takes a seat in Stoke
Sofa giant CS Lounge Suites (CSL) has taken a 15-year lease on space at Octagon Retail Park in Stoke-on-Trent. The deal was struck with landlord UK & European Investments.
The Warrington-based sofa specialist has taken 10,594 sq ft with a mezzanine level totalling 3,250 sq ft. CSL will pay an annual rent of £18.50 per sq ft.
David Hodgson, CSL’s head of property, comments: “This is a good result for CSL having secured a prominent standalone site on Octagon Retail Park and these types of freestanding, high profile opportunities are exactly the sort of sites the company is seeking to secure.”
Savills advised CSL on the acquisition.
William Hatton, director at Savills, said: “This latest acquisition is part of CSL’s strategy to expand its growing brand out of its core operating area of the North West, Yorkshire and North East into the Central TV Region to compliment its store at Giltbrook in Nottingham.”
