Brown Bevan combines operations
Nottingham-based insurance broker Brown Bevan has merged its Arnold and Wollerton branches into a single office. The new, expanded premises in Arnold combines the firm’s personal and commercial insurance departments.
The firm said this will allow it to increase turnover and jobs in coming years.
Paul Chillman, partner at Brown Bevan, said: “Although there is an increasing number of price comparison websites, many people are returning to the personal approach, favouring an individual over a website, particularly as internet prices are rising.
"Our personally-tailored provision is valued highly by our customers and our new offices will enable us to continue to provide them with the best possible service.”
Nottingham-based business adviser UHY Hacker Young assisted the firm with financial planning and created a new partnership agreement and business plan for the merger.
