Chesterfield development unveiled
The first projected images of how Chesterfield’s Waterside project could look on completion have been released. The developers behind the £300m urban village are on the lookout for businesses to take up units on the 60-acre site.
Peter Swallow, director of developer Urbo Regeneration, said: “The development epitomises everything that we want to achieve for the region.
“We already have a range of retail and leisure businesses poised to take up residence on our landmark site. We are keen to connect with more local and national organisations in the office, commercial, residential, health and education sectors.”
The Chesterfield Waterside Marketing Suite has just opened at the Bridge Business Centre, which gives prospective tenants more information about the development.
Work began on the regeneration project, which also features a canal basin and public square, in 2008.
