Tax Relief and Crowther Beard join forces
Worcester-based chartered accountants Crowther Beard and Tax Relief have agreed to merge. The new practice will trade under the name Crowther Beard LLP.
Crowther Beard said the deal formed part of its “strategy for growth”, and will result in two members of staff from Tax Relief joining the Crowther Beard team.
The company’s fee income is also estimated to increase by about ten per cent through the addition of new clients from the property and construction industries.
John Painter, managing partner at Crowther Beard, said: “Exciting times lie ahead for Crowther Beard. Merging with Tax Relief and welcoming its founder Maureen Stevenson and her valued clients to the business has resulted in us having to restructure internally, promoting two members of staff to the management team and strengthening our payroll services department.
"These are positive steps towards fulfilling our five-year strategic plan to achieve substantial growth across the business.”
