Bennett in at MCR
The Birmingham office of business adviser and insolvency practice MCR has appointed Julia Bennett as director. Bennett has 14 years’ restructuring experience in both big four and mid-tier firms.
She is a qualified chartered accountant in the audit function, an insolvency practitioner and a fellow of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals (R3).
Bennett specialises in automotive retail, professional services, manufacturing, clothing and retail and hi-tech sectors.
John Whitfield, managing partner of MCR Birmingham, said: “Julia’s main focus is business review, options analysis and advisory work and she has a real drive to shape solutions that are commercial, practical and supportive for both the funders and enterprise, operating with an empathetic, open and straightforward style.”
Bennett’s most recent projects include working with the bankers and private equity backer of a publishing group to successfully avoid an insolvency, and advising an AIM listed professional service firm with significant crown debt.
