East Midlands commercial property agent Innes England has let two properties from the Hunt Habitats commercial property portfolio at Commercial Buildings in Upper Saxondale and 11 Clarendon Street in Nottingham city centre.

The first floor office suite at Commercial Buildings has been let to software company Kratzer Automation at a headline rent of £14 sq ft on the basis of a new effectively full repairing and insuring lease for five years.

Eleven Clarenden Street was the former head office of Hunt Habitats. The company has relocated to allow an un-named client to move in, and Castlegate Capital to take occupation of the whole Clarenden Street base. Hunt Habitats agreed a new five-year lease achieving a headline rent of £11 sq ft.

Hunt habitats has now moved to new premises in Derby Street.

Ann Taylor, of Innes England, said: “Our client is a successful building company, and is acutely aware of the state of the market. On this basis, Hunt Habitats was realistic in knowing what was required to get a deal over the line. The accommodation was refurbished to an impressive specification enticing Castlegate Capital to want occupation of the whole of this statement building.”
