Select recruits new division
Select Appointments, the recruitment company based in Leicester, has created a new division to promote technical and engineering roles. Parkhouse Recruitment will be led by Andrew Howitt.
The company, which traditionally recruits for jobs in the commercial sector, will now offer roles in technical, IT, manufacturing and engineering.
Howitt, who said: “The technical and engineering sector is such an open category; it can include recruiting for roles from fork lift drivers to engineers to everything in between including IT and skilled manufacturing roles.
“So far the feedback and results have been great, what makes us unique is that we have the support of a large company but the ability to work like an independent recruitment consultancy. Therefore we can really offer a bespoke and personal service to clients and candidates.”
The company, which also has an office in Coventry, said it hopes to expand the new division once it has established a wider client base.
Company director, Darren Leppard, said: “We intend to grow the division organically and we are taking smaller steps so that the results will be more fruitful.”
