Office take up soars in Lincoln
Occupancy levels in Lincoln’s business hubs are “exceeding forecasts across the county”. According to statistics from the City of Lincoln Council and Lincolnshire County Council, 94 per cent of the units at the Greetwell Place managed workspace are now let.
Eighty-eight per cent of the units at The Terrace in Lincoln are also occupied, and half of the office space in the two-year-old Think Tank are full.
The two councils said the boom was due to regional businesses taking advantage of the modest rents and business support packages.
Boston Enterprise Centre is 84 per cent full, the Fairfield Enterprise Centre in Louth has let 82 per cent of its units, and Skegness Business Centre is almost completely full at 95 per cent.
“Lincolnshire’s business centres are achieving or surpassing forecasts and expectations, which is terrific news,” said Will Bedford, of Lincolnshire County Council.
He added: "The number of businesses that we support through our centres has increased significantly, and they will make a significant contribution to the Lincolnshire economy."
