HSBC banks on 14 new mangers
HSBC Commercial Banking has appointed 14 international commercial managers to its Midlands Commercial Banking team. The new recruits will be led by Phill Potter, HSBC regional international commercial manager for the Midlands.
The appointments will assist the bank’s customers in trading internationally, and identifying and investigating opportunities overseas.
HSBC made the appointments in offices including Birmingham, Coventry, Derby, Leicester, and Nottingham. The new recruits will also join offices in Walsall and Lichfield, Wolverhampton and Worcester and Stourbridge.
Roy Harris, HSBC regional commercial director for the Midlands, said: “The recent appointments of 14 international commercial mangers in the region will provide our customers with the support they need to negotiate the challenges and complexities of doing business internationally.
“They will be able to offer commercial customers solutions which draw on HSBC’s unrivalled global presence, including advice on setting up international bank accounts and moving money around the globe, to handling cultural sensitivities, and arranging valuable introductions in key markets.”
