Sothers has been in the same family since its establishment in 1919 and which works with clients in the leisure, commercial, retail, healthcare and education sectors. Managing director Robert Hinton will remain with the company along with the rest of the current management team.

Rob Kirkham, business development director at Rotary, said: “Sothers will bring valuable local and technical knowledge as we continue to expand our business across the UK.

Birmingham-based law firm Cobbetts advised Rotary UK. Graham Muth, who led the deal team for Cobbetts, said: “Sothers is a strong strategic fit for Rotary, which has already established a presence across much of the UK.”
