Lavendon says goodbye to Hollywood
David Hollywood has tendered his resignation as chairman and a director of Lavendon Group. He has stepped down from the Lutterworth-headquartered company due to a high number of other business interests.
John Standen, the company's senior independent director, has taken over as chairman of the company. Lavendon rents powered aerial work platforms in western Europe and the Gulf States.
In addition, Lavendon announced its intention to appoint two new non-executive directors to "further broaden and strengthen the board's range of skills and experience".
Tim Ross, nomination committee chairman, said: "The board wishes David well for the future and thanks him for the very significant contribution that he has made to the group over the past four years.
"We are highly fortunate to have a successor of the calibre of John Standen who has an excellent knowledge of the business, having joined the board originally in 2005, and considerable experience in chairing public company boards."
