Park owner looking to double up

Lifestyle Living Group, the owner of three caravan parks in Lincolnshire, is looking to double the size of its business over the next 12 months as it embarks on ambitious acquisition plans.

Tony Barney, owner and chairman of the company, said: “We’re now ready to push the button on the next phase of our expansion plans, and are actively looking for prime static caravan and luxury lodge park sites around the UK. We’re looking to at least double the number of developments we have over the next year.

“We want to be the best at what we do, and quality has become our trademark. When we have acquired the parks, we will be looking to upgrade them to the standards we’ve become renowned for.”

Lifestyle Living Group has acquired no fewer than six new parks in the past year, including Lincolnshire Caravan Parks Little Haven Caravan Park and The Willows Caravan Park in Chapel St Leonards, and The White Horse Caravan Park in Metheringham for £3m.

And now, Lifestyle Living Group is ready to grow again, backed by a further £10m investment group fund to develop new and existing parks to premium quality levels.

Barney said: “Some businesses can see park ownership as an easy task and so invest little into the developments and ultimately the lives, leisure time and holidays of the residents of the parks. We’ve always taken the view that the lifestyle is key and so the utmost care and commitment is channelled into maintaining it for residents and holidaymakers that the group sells and rents to. Without this lifestyle element and attention to detail, we’d be just another holiday park owner.”
