Dillon launches chartered surveyors
John Dillon, the former head of Office Agency at the Birmingham office of Lambert Smith Hampton has set up a new Worcestershire-based firm of chartered surveyors.
Dillion teamed up with his former colleague Lynne Davies from Andrew Grant Commercial in Worcester to launch J P Dillon Commercial Property Consultants.
The new firm will concentrate on the sale, letting and acquisition of all types of commercial and industrial premises throughout Worcestershire and the M5 and A38 corridors.
Dillon said: “There is no question that the commercial property market in Worcestershire has gone through a period of consolidation over the last two years with prices falling and a noticeable decline in demand.
"Many pundits and so called experts will tell you that this is a period of doom and gloom but there is of course a flip side as for many businesses, individuals and property investors this is a period of great opportunity before prices rise and full market optimism returns."
He added that it was not the company’s intention “to take on hundreds of new agency instructions throughout Worcestershire”, but it would instead be “selective” and work with existing developers, the local professional community and local businesses.
