German efficiency results in record move

German design firm, Aut-Tech Automation has completed the expansion of its UK hub at University of Warwick Science Park’s Business Innovation Centre in Binley in just 16 hours.

The company has moved into larger premises on the site in less than a day compared with the usual fortnight many companies take to relocate.

Aut-Tech Automation produces and inspects tools for automotive manufacturers.

The company, which moved into the park in 2009, said that it required larger premises following increased demand.

Martin Davis, general manager of Aut-Tech-Automation, said: “Acquiring more customers requires extra space to allow us to facilitate multiple customers simultaneously.

“In addition we need the space for our team to work within. As it is an international company we have colleagues from overseas working within our office on a regular basis, also we are in the process of recruiting local university students, so the expansion was a necessity.”

Wright Hassall’s commercial property team acted on behalf of the business park.
