Five promoted at Jones Lang LaSalle
Property services giant Jones Lang LaSalle has promoted Birmingham-based Carrie Sanders to national director. The firm has also promoted three of its senior staff to associate directors in the office.
Sanders will now lead the firm’s shopping centre management division in Birmingham and has responsibility for day-to-day property management of key schemes in the Midlands and across the UK. She joined Jones Lang La Salle in 2006.
Alongside Sanders’ promotion, Ben Kelly, Matthew Rowley and Rosie Young have all been promoted from senior surveyor to associate director. Hazel Whittingham has been promoted to surveyor level.
Kelly joined Jones Lang LaSalle’s national investment team six years ago and has been involved in over £840m of commercial property transactions over the last four years, including the high profile sale of One Snowhill in Birmingham earlier this year.
Rowley has worked for Jones Lang LaSalle for five years and has over ten years’ commercial experience specialising in project management, project design and administration and building surveying for both locally based and national clients.
Young has nine years’ property experience and works in the firm’s specialist valuation advisory team valuing property assets including student accommodation, sports grounds, landmark assets, churches, ports and airports.
Jan Thompson, head of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Birmingham office, said: “These promotions represent the investment in the talent we now employ in Birmingham. It is good to see their contributions to the business are recognised, just as much internally, as they are by our clients and the wider property market.”
