The Apprentice hopefuls revealed
Two West Midlands businesswoman will appear on this year’s series of The Apprentice. Amongst the hopefuls are Joy Stefanicki, who previously worked in the marketing department of Deloitte in Birmingham.
The new series of the TV show will air in October.
Stefanicki was PR and media manager in Birmingham’s Deloitte office. She previously worked in New York, Israel and Peru, but opted to return to the UK in 2009 after becoming a “victim of the global recession”, she said.
She will be joined by Laura Moore, a business development manger from Warwickshire. Moore said that she brought in over £500,000 of sales in her first year as a management consultant, and cites Body Shop founder Anita Roddick as one of her biggest inspirations.
Both will appear on the sixth series of the BBC television programme, which aims to find an apprentice for multi-millionaire businessman Sir Alan Sugar.
