Gray swaps Berrymans for Geldards
The Nottingham office of law firm Geldards has recruited specialist corporate lawyer Tom Gray. Gray joins from solicitor Berrymans.
The move follows that of another Berryman lawyer, Ginny Hallam, who joined Geldards over the summer.
Gray will join Geldards’ corporate finance team, which is headed by Andrew Borkowski.
He said: “I am delighted to be joining the Geldards team. This is a fantastic opportunity for me. Geldards’ growth is really creating a buzz in Nottingham and it has a very professional and well respected corporate finance team.
“I have joined Geldards at a time when there is increased activity in the marketplace. There is now increasing activity with banks and funders and this sort of confidence will encourage activity within the wider business community.”
Borkowski described Gray’s appointment as “a major coup” for the firm.
He added: “He is very well known in the Midlands and has been involved in a large number of major deals. We know that Tom’s appointment will further boost our expanding corporate finance team, and will further underpin our reputation as a leading advisor in the Midlands and beyond.”
