Gallop in at Baker Tilly
The Birmingham office of accountancy and business advisory firm Baker Tilly has appointed Tom Gallop as associate director.
Gallop transfers from the Bury St Edmunds office of Baker Tilly, where he developed the firm’s corporate finance activities across East Anglia and the East Midlands. He joined the firm in 2008 from the London office of Deloitte.
Tom specialises in private company sales, acquisitions and MBOs, focusing on mid-market deals ranging up to £50m. The Midlands-based corporate finance team now comprises two partners and ten staff.
Baker Tilly’s Birmingham office managing partner, Simon Hart, said: “This is a significant investment in our corporate finance capability and, in particular, our lead advisory offering. Tom will be working alongside lead advisory partner Nick Weston, and will continue to originate deals and build our business across the eastern side of our region.
