Co-op turns to Shakespear
The Co-operative Bank has promoted Martyn Shakespear to regional business development manager for its Midlands corporate banking region.
Shakespear will be responsible for the bank’s team of business development managers across the West and East Midlands and South Yorkshire.
He has been with the bank for more than three years. He previously held regional and area managerial positions at two other banks and has been in the profession for 28 years.
Martyn said: ''I’m delighted to have been given the opportunity to lead and work with a dynamic and energetic team of business development managers across the region. It comes at a time when the bank is very much open for quality business on the back of a consistent approach where we have not encountered some of the problems experienced by our competitors.”
