Winkett joins Barclays Corporate
Barclays Corporate has appointed a new business development director for the East Midlands. Nigel Winkett joins Barclays from Royal Bank of Scotland where he worked for 24 years.
Winkett will be responsible for leading the corporate business development team, which specialises in providing financial services solutions to medium sized businesses in the area.
For the last three years, Winkett worked for the Royal Bank of Scotland in the corporate and commercial finance arena, predominantly in and around Nottinghamshire.
Winkett said: “I am delighted at being offered the opportunity to build a new business development team for Barclays Corporate within an area that I have worked many years and have a great passion for. I admire Barclays commitment to providing excellent customer service and specialist industry propositions.
"My main objective is to grow Barclays’ competitive position by enhancing and growing market share.”
