Funding boost for talent-hungry companies

A new recruitment service has been launched for food and drink businesses in the region. HotProspects and the The Food and Drink Forum are collaborating on the project.

The scheme is designed to help small and medium-sized businesses find graduates to fill temporary or permanent posts.

Companies can apply for grants of up to £1,000 made available in partnership with the East Midlands Development Agency (Emda) and the European Regional Development Fund.

HotProspects project manager Elizabeth Andrzejewski-Wilson said: “Specific or rare skills sets can be very hard to find, especially in the food and drink sector where skills shortages have long held back business growth.”

“The new service allows businesses to pick and choose the elements they require, from a targeted marketing campaign through to full service graduate recruitment.”
