Bureau secures Sodexo contract
The European Safety Bureau, based in Leicester, has secured one of its biggest ever contracts. The Bureau has been appointed to conduct food safety and health and safety audits for Sodexo, the global onsite service solutions provider.
Industry giant Sodexo provides food and facilities management services.
The two-year deal contracts the Bureau to work closely with Safegard, Sodexo’s internal health and safety consultancy. It will focus on the activities of Sodexo UK & Ireland, which employs 43,000 staff out of 13 regional offices. The business operates 2,500 contracts across 1,400 sites.
Chris Dark, head of Safegard, said: “I was very impressed by The Bureau’s eagerness to add value, as compliance is top of the agenda for Sodexo UK & Ireland. As part of a large multinational company, one of our challenges is to integrate global food safety and health and safety standards with national legislation.
“Our values are based on strong ethics and an unreserved approach to quality, whether it is in relation to the food we serve or the services we provide. These traits are mirrored in the work of the Bureau.”
