Interiors business supports future designers
Diseworth-based Blueprint Interiors has created a university scholarship to support the next generation of designers. The company will provide financial backing starting with £1,000 a year to a student taking a BSc (Honours) degree in marketing and design at Lancaster University.
Blueprint Interiors managing director Robert Day, a graduate of the university, said he welcomed the opportunity to launch the Blueprint Scholarship and help develop the next generation of marketing and design professionals.
He added: “This degree course offers a modern and realistic approach to the latest issues and challenges in both marketing and design and provides a clear understanding of their role in today’s society.
“Effectively it embodies all that we do at Blueprint interiors and offers not only the theoretical aspects but also, most importantly, the practical application of these disciplines.”
The university is currently ranked eighth in the Independent Complete University Guide 2011.
