Gregory returns to Wolverhampton
The University of Wolverhampton Business School has appointed Anthea Gregory as its dean. She is currently the deputy dean of Hull University Business School and will take up the new position in December.
The move marks a return to Wolverhampton for Gregory, who was associate dean of postgraduate and professional programmes at the University of Wolverhampton Business School from 2000 until 2003.
She said: “I have been greatly impressed by the investment and changes that have occurred at the university since I have been away. I want to harness the enterprising spirit of the school to connect with business and provide a rich learning experience for students.”
Gregory has a first class Business Studies degree from Sheffield City Polytechnic and a PhD from the University of Leicester. She began her career working for the entrepreneur Chris Finnegan in London and later Northamptonshire. Her academic career began in 1989 at Sheffield Business School before moving to Huddersfield University Business School in 1999.
