Savills launches Derby site sale

Share | |

Property adviser Savills has put a development site on the edge of Derby city centre up for sale. The site is situated approximately 300 metres north east of Derby city centre and is surrounded by offices and apartments.

The site will be sold by way of informal tender, closing at 12 noon on Thursday 30 September 2010.

It formerly accommodated 66 apartments and extends to approximately 0.67 acres. The development is one of a handful surrounding Derby city centre, which will be key in the continuing regeneration of Derby as one of the three major cities within the East Midlands.

Savills said that the site has short, medium and long-term redevelopment potential.

Andrew Galloway, development surveyor at Savills Nottingham, said: “It is encouraging to see continued interest from the full spectrum of the local development and property industry. Bringing the sale to a close by informal tender will be a good barometer of market appetite moving out of the recession.”
