Hortons' continues its acquisition trail
Birmingham property company Hortons’ Estate has added an industrial site in Telford to its portfolio. In a deal worth £2m, Hortons’ purchased the Hortonwood 7 Industrial Estate, which comprises 12 units totalling 37,500 sq ft.
The multi-let complex is situated about four miles from the M54 junctions four and five, and is already home to specialist heating and plumbing company, the BSS Group and Telford and Wrekin Primary Care Trust.
The site has been purchased from PRUPIM and is the latest addition to Hortons’ comprehensive industrial offering, which includes Anchor Brook Industrial Park, Aldridge, Hollymoor Point, Rubery and Wayside Business Park, Coventry.
Richard Norgrove, property director of Hortons said: “We are very pleased to have been able to acquire our first site in Telford. Hortonwood 7 is a well recognised estate, with well-known occupiers.
“Hortons has entered an acquisitive period despite the economic gloom and the Hortonwood 7 deal follows our recent £1m acquisition in Queen Street, Wolverhampton last month. Together these acquisitions show that we remain well-placed to do deals when the right opportunity arises and we have plans to expand our portfolio further.”
Acting on behalf of Hortons was Gerald Eve. Bulleys acted on behalf of the vendor.
