New dealmaker for Catalyst
International adviser, Catalyst Corporate Finance, has appointed Chris Wright to the firm’s deal making team in Nottingham. In his new role, Wright will work to develop business within the East Midlands.
Wright joins from professional service organisation Ernst & Young, where he gained his ACA qualification.
He will be working with the Keith Pickering, a partner at the firm, director Justin Crowther and senior dealmaker Simon Peacock to develop business within the East Midlands region.
Keith Pickering, partner at Catalyst, said: “In a marketplace where delivering deals remains a challenge we are delighted to be expanding our team. Our continued focus on the mid-market in the Midlands has been highly successful leading to us completing high profile deals in the region including, Sysnseal, and Vision Security Group.
"This in turn has resulted in an increased workload due to the large number of transactions in our pipeline and the number of new mandates we have won in recent months.”
Pickering added that he expected the year to “end on a high for Catalyst” in terms of the number of deals completed, and said that the firm would continue to add to its team.
