Comau Estil comes to ProLogis Park
Comau Estil, part of the Fiat Group, has relocated its regional head quarters to Oak Court, ProLogis Park in Coventry. The company has taken 3,930 sq ft of first and ground floor office space on a five-year lease.
The company, which provides assembly systems and assembly solutions to the automotive, aerospace and general industries, is currently based on Meriden Business Park, Coventry.
Comau Estil has leased the whole of unit seven - ground and first floor - plus, the ground floor of adjoining unit six. The company has leased the property with rent rising to £58,650 p.a over the five-year term.
An access entrance at ground floor level has been created by the landlords to interconnect the two units.
Comau Estil’s sales manager, Tony Clarke, said: "We've just started fit-out work for the offices, which will take about four or five weeks, so we are expecting to move in by the end of September.
"We are relocating our Midlands operation from our current premises because they are too small for our needs, as we've recently taken on additional staff, so it's an expansion move as well as looking for better quality accommodation.”
About 40 staff will move to the new base.
Rupert Gillitt, of D&P Holt, acted for the landlords, Oakham Developments and Abacus Developments, and Alexander & Co acted on behalf of the tenant.
Other companies to take up space on the development in the past few months include Delta Energy Services and leading cleaning contractor Regent Cleaning, which has doubled its accommodation through the scheme.
Rupert Gillitt said: "Oak Court continues to be a successful development, with a sale and two lettings achieved this year, involving a total of around 8,000 sq ft which, in the current market, is extremely good. The scheme's continued success is down to its quality, and excellent location on the M6."
