Production hub undergoes facelift
An £800,000 programme of work is underway to develop a production unit on a Black Country industrial estate.Landlord London and Cambridge Properties (LCP), based in Kingswinford, is carrying out the work at The Woods Bank Estate in Wednesbury.
The company is preparing Units 3 and 4 of the 117, 358 sq ft property for occupation in November.
Developments include the construction of an entirely new reception area and refurbishing all office space. The building will have new cladding to the front elevation, completely modernised office exterior, a new factory floor across 70 per cent of the unit and new heating system and toilets.
Margaret Hopkins, LCP’s marketing director, said: “Woods Bank is very well located, being close to the Black Country Route and within two miles of Junction 9 of the M6. It offers a high standard of accommodation thanks to a continued programme of investment and has already attracted Dreams who distribute from this estate.
“Securing a major agreement on Units 3 and 4 is also a welcome boost for us and we look forward to handing over the refurbished premises by the end of the year.”
